Greystone & Co. commissioned Arbore Design to create the New York flagship showroom for their furniture and antique venture, the "Greystone Home Collection." The showroom, which opened in June, 2005, is home to Greystone's wide array of European-inspired furnishings and fabrics and is housed in the renowned D&D Building at Third Avenue between 58th and 59th Streets.
The project entailed new storefront, new interior partitions, new mechanical and electrical design, custom trim and millwork. Arbore Design worked with Greystone's designers to create enfilade vistas from room to room and to foster a simple and clear flow of space from entry to departure, giving their guests a sense of place and syncopated movement throughout.
