In August, 2005, Greystone East Construction commissioned Arbore Design with the full renovation of an existing six-story townhouse on one of the most prestigious blocks in Manhattan - East 70th Street. The task at hand was to gut this erstwhile multi-family apartment building, installing new stairs and elevator, new heating and air conditioning systems, new windows, doors, and walls, all to restore the building to its former glory - a single-family luxury residence in the heart of New York's Upper East Side.

This project showcases one of Arbore Design's greatest assets: the ability to orchestrate the voices of multiple contributors (the client, the decorator, the engineers, and the contractors) and have them all hit a harmonious note together.
